Author Guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit comprehensive extended abstracts of two to three A4 pages, one-column format, including author name(s), mailing address, e-mail address and the preferred topic, to be selected from the list available in the «Topics» page. The extended abstract should summarize the content of the full paper, indicating its aim and original contribution with respect to the works reported in the literature. The main results should be included and commented in the extended abstract body. A list of the major considered references should be given at the end of the extended abstract. Submissions should be done via the conference manuscript central available in the link:

Authors of provisionally accepted abstracts will be requested to submit their full papers. These should be made ready according to the conference templates (Latex or MS Word) provided in the notification of provisional acceptance message.
Final acceptances will be based on full papers. In order to have their papers included in the conference final program and published in its USB, at least one of the authors would have to pay the registration fees considering the rates specified in the «Registration» page.

Thanks to the IEEE technical sponsorship, all papers presented in SMART 2026 will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Furthermore, 20% of the presented papers will be resubmitted to the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications for possible publication. Last but not least, an agreement has been arranged with the International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (COMPEL) to publish improved versions of 24 papers presented in SMART 2026.
